As a former Colorado resident and musician, this Absolut and Red Rocks project was the perfect pair. The ask? To craft engaging headlines weaving Absolut Vodka, Red Rocks, and designated driving. This copy lived on the amphitheater’s jumbotron, posters, booklets my Colorado friends saved for posterity, and my dad’s iPhone screen. (He is in a dad band called Hoopla, hence the ACDC lyrical references).

Bulova asked us to help launch an interactive watch-finding tool celebrating the brand’s “History of Firsts”. With hundreds of watches and a unique story behind each one, we aimed for a structure that put history at the forefront. You’ll notice that each question is tied to a Bulova fact—from the first-ever women’s watch to the first “dive with the devil”. This project involved generating research, a logical path, choosing and rewriting brand facts, and creating engaging questions.

Tempur-Pedic is rolling out their latest bed-in-a-bag mattresses (literally). We helped them develop a site with a fresh look, tone, and feel. The copy is slightly more playful and colloquial than their usual style, but it still maintains the techie tone that establishes them as the original industry innovators. From events like the Super Bowl, Coachella, and the GRAMMYs to ringing in the New Year and more, Absolut headlines always invite a little wordplay into the mix.

Malibu came to us looking to highlight Malibu Strawberry and the collection of mixable summer flavors. Rum and fruit puns? Sure, twist my vitamin-D-depleted arm. Oh, and if your palate is ready for more, ask me about my 30-second radio scripts too.

Within the Macmillan publishing family, Swoon is the all-the-feels-romancing, dystopian-patriarchy-defying younger sibling. This copy was written for the Swoon blog with the YA audience in mind. So raise your arrows, all you Katniss Everdeens out there—or better yet, raise your pens.
